small world

as the song goes... it's a small world after all. it really is. i was thinking about it today, a lot of my friends are connected to one another. here are some connections that i know about:

• the orbase twins have cousins who went to my high school.
• eric is really good friends with my neighbor, allen, who used to drive to school every morning and then leave me in the car while he had breakfast with his friend.
• mark's friend, eric, is dating a girl i used to be friends with in high school.
• another friend of mine, lee, is engaged to a girl that warren knows.
• a coworker of mine knows the family that lives across the street from me in vallejo.
• alan, olivia's fiance, went to school with my friend allan from elementary school.
• another coworker is good friends with my friends bernard and frankie.
• cliff used to date a girl from my high school who i used to hang out with.

that's all i can think about right now but it's funny how everyone seems to know the same people. i want to try the whole 6 degrees of separation thing some day and i bet i'll find connections that would be crazy. sheryl, nannette and i were talking about friend connections the other day. we were talking about how all the guys- eric, mark, jerry, cinco, peter, lito, joe, glenn, warren, etc- were all connected. it's pretty cool how you realize how you know others and how they know the people you know.

one more thing before i go back to work - i'm now addicted to pita chips and i love the song "the reason" by hoobastank. i will learn all of the words one of these days!
