where does time go?

seriously... where does it go? i swear i just wrote my last entry last week but it was back in february and it is already a day away from may. time sure does fly.

so where i have been in the last 2 months?

*vegas... we went to vegas in march with the dizons. it was a lot of fun to hang out with them! we just shopped and gambled a little. we didn't do the usual let's get all dressed up and go clubbing. we just hung out in the casinos with our $1 margaritas and kicked back. it was a nice little get away weekend.



* i started my new job and i love it. i've been there for almost 2 months now and i'm still feel like the new kid on the block. i still get lost walking around the building and people still look at me and probably think who's this newbie? i've made some new co-worker friends and have gotten to know better some of the people who have wandered over from my old company. i really feel that i made the right decision to move over. i am happy to go to work and i don't feel so stressed out when i am there. everyone i work with is very laid back and easy going. recently my dept had dinner cruise on the hornblower to celebrate the dept's accomplishments. it was a lot of fun to see people outside of the office!


*baseball season is here! we have already gone to a few a's games and have seen the a's lose badly but we were also there to see them win too. i love being at mcafee and being surrounded by the sights, sounds and smells that comes with baseball. we also were able to see nick swisher at a restaurant called el balazo in san ramon. he seems like a cool guy and he's on fire right now!


*city contacts reunion - i had my old city contacts coworkers over for dinner one evening. it is always fun to hang out with them to catch up on our lives and gossip! we had dinner and played taboo for about 2 hours! it was a very entertaining evening... we even got to watch loi and steve play their chinese drinking game that only they can understand!

*partylite candle party... i recently hosted a candle party at my place and it was a lot of fun. some of my girlfriends came over and a friend of mine did a presentation about the candles. it was fun to hang out with everyone because it has been awhile since we all have gotten together. overall the candle party was a success and i was able to earn more credit than i thought!

*hanging out with the girls... i've been able to hang out more with the girls. we had a make our pizza/salad night and another night we had dinner at roy's in san francisco. i feel that i have gotten closer to them in the last two months because since we don't work together anymore we make more of an effort to stay in touch. i love them!

other than work and baseball, there is really not much going on. i am not even going to say, i'll try to blog more cause that won't happen! i'm sure that more will happen and i'll eventually find time to blog about it. see ya in a month or so!
