catching up...

i can't remember the last time that i blogged! i've been so lazy lately but reading some of my friend's blogs tonight has actually inspired me to catch up. i can't believe that november has come and gone and that christmas is only 11 days away and i have yet to start my christmas shopping! december is such a busy month with birthdays, holiday parties, b & jac's wedding, christmas and new year's. with so many things going on i might as well catch up now...

* halloween... this year eric and i actually dressed up since my friend sandra and her hubby had a halloween party. i was punky brewster and eric was kanye west. it was funny cause he had no idea what to be so he decided to be kanye. how? well he wore aviator sunglasses and had a sweater over a polo shirt which he popped the collar. funny thing is that someone actually recognized him as kanye!

*scorpio birthdays... this year for my birthday we hung out at lucky lounge. it was pretty fun to just hang out with everyone. afterwards we had a little after party at home. nothing big... just pizza and warren acting like the uncle that embarasses everyone! lol! it was another memorable birthday with my favorite people! thanks to reub, ja, and hankie for coming out from san jose and suprising me! minam, ponce, and jollie's birthdays were in november too. it's always fun to celebrate everyone's birthdays and watch them get drunk!

*year end party... my company had our year end party this year at sbc. it was a lot of fun! it was a vegas themed party so there was a bunch of poker, black jack, roulette, and craps tables set up. we also got to tour the park and go out onto the field, into the dugout and also check out the visiting team's club house. our friends alan and olivia were the photographers for the evening and they took awesome pics! i was part of the planning committee for the party so it was cool to see it all come together. everyone seemed like they had a good time and now i can say i partied at sbc.

*kama`ainas... we just got back from hawai'i last night. it was a very relaxing and fun trip even though i was sick the entire time. eric and i went with my family and our friend lito was there also since he did the honolulu marathon. while we were there people actually thought we were
kama`ainas (locals) and my brother loved it since he claims that we are half hawaiian, but we're not! we did a lot there even though we were there for only 5 days. we drove around the island and went to north shore where we saw a lot of big waves, had matsumoto's shaved ice, and got caught in a surfing contest traffic jam. attended the paradise cove luau which was the best luau i've ever been to. we relaxed on waikiki beach, played in the water and even got a pretty decent tan. we hung out a lot at the international marketplace and shopped till we dropped at the aloha stadium swap meet and at ala moana. we met lito at the finish line of the honolulu marathon-check out his stats here. we ate a lot! we ate yummy burgers at kau'inas (north shore), i love country- twice (great local food!), zippys, yummys, dukes, ala moana mall, and lot of ice cream! i can't wait to go back and be in warm weather! i don't like being cold... i'd rather be sick (yup, i'm still sick) in warm weather.

well that is all the catching up for now. i think i'm good to go to not blog for another month. just kidding. i think one of my new year's resolution will be to keep up with my blog along with going to the gym more! ha... we'll see which one i actually keep!
