hmmm...

i don't even know what to title this entry... i'm not doing so well in keeping up with my blog. i think i'm just gonna keep up with the monthly entry! well since i was last here what has been going on?
*oakland a's fan fest - it was the great ending to a difficult week! eric and i went pretty early to try to get tickets to get autographs but the line was too long that we decided to just try our luck and find players hanging out. luck was definitely on our side. we were able to get jason kendall (catcher), freddie bynum (still don't know who he is; is he even on the a's?!), mark ellis, danny haren, dan johnson, nick swisher and frank thomas. we even got to tour the a's clubhouse and hang out in the dug out. this was an a's fan's dream day! being the coliseum made me long for baseball to season to start... spring training is in full swing so it is only a month and half away!
*grey's anatomy - i just got into watching this show and i love it! my friends have always been telling me to watch it and i don't know why i never did since it is on after desparate housewives. anyways i watched one episode and i was hooked. luckily i wa able to catch a recap episode and i was able to catch up. i also got season one on dvd and i couldn't stop watching it. it's such a great show and it also helps that patrick dempsey a.k.a dr. mcdreamy is cute!
*american idol - it's full swing. can't believe that filipino guy from south city made it to the top 24. hopefully he makes it far...
*valentine's day - eric and i didn't do anything on the actual day cause i think the holiday is pretty cheesy. we did go out for brunch on sunday at butterfly on the embarcadero. it was really yummy! i didn't want roses or whatever so i just asked eric to get the grey's anatomy dvd and i was a happy girl!
*cupcakes - so eric and i were hanging out in emeryville and we came across this bakery called teacake bake shop. at first glance it's pretty pricey. $2 for a cookie and $3 for a cupcake but it is SO worth it. it's the best cupcakes i've ever had and the cookies are to die for. they have this white chocolate pistachio cookie that melts in your mouth! i think i gained 5 lbs just eating this stuff!
*dancing with the stars - ok, i only watched this show cause drew was my favorite from 98 degrees but it's a pretty good show! stacy kiebler is really good and surprisingly jerry rice made it to the finals. i hope drew wins... he's really good! i have to remember to vote this time!
*new toy - so eric got a new laptop, an apple ibook g4. it's sooooooooo cool. technically it is eric's but i get to play with too. i've never really played on a laptop before but it's cool to be sitting in bed and playing on the internet. it has wireless internet and luckily we have a wireless network at home. anyways it came with a program called ilife and i love it. i've uploaded pictures and made slideshows. it's super cool! i love our new toy!
