i heart taboo...
lol... just kidding. i don't really love taboo but my urb, lilo, does! so i have this video game called "the urbz: sims in the city" and it's the best game ever! it's basically the sims but in an urban environment. so the black eyed peas have characters in the game and your urb (sim) can interact with them. i created an urb named lilo hukilau (i can't get over hawaii!) and she has become lovers with taboo and will.i.am and she and fergie are best friends. lol... i laugh just thinking about. so i've stopped playing for awhile because i was able to get to the last level but i pulled the game out again since i saw the black eyed peas (bep) this weekend!
eric and i went with the berkeley crew & alan's scu friends to see bep this past saturday at monster park. it was a free concert sponsored by honda and it was one of the best concerts ever. we all thought that they would not play too many songs since it was free but it turned out to be a full set that lasted about an hour and a half. they played a lot of their new songs and some from the elephunk album and surprise, surprise they even played "bebot!" it was so cool to hear it live because it's not a song that they would really play at a show. there was even a part when will.i.am was playing the drums and was playing "drop it like it's hot." so he was saying (or singing) "san francisco... drop it like it's hot, drop it like it's hot. oakland... drop it like it's hot, drop it like it's hot. berkeley... drop it like it's hot, drop it like it's hot." then i think he drew a blank cause he said drop it like it's hot twice and then sang "vallejo...drop it like it's hot, drop it like it's hot." my jaw dropped and i looked at eric thinking what the heck?! did he just say vallejo?! how random!!! anyways overall it was a really cool show and it was worth standing up in the same spot for five hours in the cold! i'm hecka into bep right now and i can't stop listening to their album. i'm going to have to borrow their previous album from my brother for my ipod! i think i go through this every time i go to a good show!
