hello 2006!

it's a new year and i'm already slacking on my new year's resolution to keep up with my blog! i can't believe the holidays came and went. here is a quick recap of the end of 2005: eric celebrated his birthday at bucca di bepo with his closest friends and then partied it up at luna lounge... celebrated christmas with the berkeley crew...

christmas was filled with food, family and a lot of gifts... new years eve was quiet... i have picked up knitting and have made 2 scarves, started my third and am ready to start making beanies... my good friends bernard and jaclyn got married at the blackhawk auto museum and it was one of the best weddings that i have been to. not only was i able to share their special day with them, it was also a reunion of sorts. i was able to catch up with my good friends frankie, reub, jamie, austin, marco, and eric. see below for some photos:




now it's 2006 and so far it's been a good year. we celebrated the new year at casino abar... hosted an after christmas christmas party at the m&m factory complete with a chocolate fountain, a round of taboo and cranium and a white elephant where we got a waffle maker and a starbucks gift card...

had the stomach flu - ewwwwww... celebrated my mom and johanna's birthday... january is dine about town month (yummy) - so far we have gone to sutro's at the cliffhouse and coming up is farallon, roy's hawaiian fusion, and butterfly... i have gotten into reading again and just finished (in 2 days!) something borrowed by emily giffin. it was a great book and i couldn't put it down. there is a follow-up book called something blue which i ordered and can't wait to start... american idol starts tonight and so does a new show called love monkey... so far it is a good year and more to look forward to this month: warriors/cavaliers game, eric's company party, OAKLAND A'S fanfest (i am dying for baseball season to start!)... well that's it for now... hopefully i will remember to blog more often!
