weekend update

friday - after work, i hung out with the girls (sheryl, minam, and sheri) in burlingame. we had dinner at isobune and that was fun. it's fun watching the sushi pass by on the little boats. it was funny cause minam has not been to a sushi boat place in a while so she wasn't sure what was what and she kept asking they passed by so i would be like "what? which one?" sheryl thought it was funny cause i did that to her the last time we went! after 7 plates each of sushi, we walked down to the apple store cause sheri and i wanted to check out the ipods. i've been wanting one since eric got his ipod photo (which is super cool by the way!). i decided i wanted an ipod mini cause who really needs to download 15,000 songs on their ipod?! besides the mini is now about $199. but i won't get it now... will have to save some moola first. after we went to the apple store, we headed back down to baskin robbins and just hung out and talked. it's always nice to hang out with the girls and have girl talk. oh! we also checked out minam's new place which is about two or three blocks from burlingame ave. she has her own studio which is really cute and in a nice area.

saturday - eric and i had dental appointments in vallejo. it's been over a year for both of us so i was afraid i would have cavities or something. so far they found nothing but they have to look over the x-rays. yeesh... we'll see what they find from those! anyways, the dentist we went to had a pretty fancy office. big flat screen lcd tv in the lobby and flat screen tvs in front of the chair. it was funny cause i was trying to watch tv but the dentist's hands were in the way. i sometimes don't understand how the dentist is talking to me and asking me questions while they are scarping my teeth. how am i supposed to answer them?! afterwards, eric and i went to target and did some shopping. we had to get a gift cause we went to nannette's sister's baby shower in fairfield later that afternoon. it was pretty fun... we played games and hung out at the chocolate fondue fountain! i won one game - the one where you had to unscramble baby related words. jerry won a game too! the one where you have to scoop cotton balls out of a bowl and then into another bowl- blind folded. anyways it was fun to hang out with sheryl, nannette, jerry, des, eric... the chocolate fountain was the highlight besides seeing terri and watching her open all the cute gifts!

sunday - how would i describe sunday? well, i woke up to kendal licking my face. how she got into my room, i have no idea? probably ian let her in. i was sick all day sunday. i was very naseous and thought i wouldn't have to throw up but boy was i wrong! i was throwing up all day and couldn't keep anything down. my mom gave me 7up and crackers but that didn't really do much. i laid on the couch while ian ate his taco bell and that didn't make me want to throw up at all! j/k. anyways, i just laid on the couch until eric came and picked me up to bring me back to alameda. kendal must've known i wasn't feeling well cause she just laid down on the floor in front of me and sometimes she would stick her face in mine and just start licking me. eww! anyways, i spent the rest of the day on the couch and slept. i didn't eat anything at all except for some crackers that tasted stale and 7up.

monday - i stopped throwing up but was too weak to go to work. yippee? yeah, right! i was pretty weak and woke up with the worst headache since i hadn't eaten anything. so i woke eric up at 5am and asked for a bowl of cereal. that didn't mess my stomach up so i knew i was going to be ok. so i spent the day watching was i had on my "now playing list" on tivo - past episodes of the apprentice and food network caters your wedding. after watching general hospital, i had to get out of the house. it was such a nice day outside and i was feeling better so i went to the store and got some groceries. i wanted to make a passport meal like rachael ray does on her 30 minute meals. so i got some gyoza, edamame, and some ingredients to make chicken teriyaki. yum!

so i feel a lot better now... eric is now the one who is not feeling so well. he's throwing up a little and he kinda has a fever. great! i guess what i had wasn't food poisoning but must be some kind of virus. is something going around? poor eric... he's just laying on the couch and sleeping. he must not be feeling well if he doesn't want to eat anything for dinner. hope he feels better... gotta go. time for american idol! yay!
