diary of the baseball princess: ...weekend update...

friday night... i hung out with sheryl, glenn, nannette, mark and minam at sheryl and glenn's new place. it was a fun and relaxing night. i helped sheryl make chicken apritada and ice cream sandwiches. after eating cheese and crackers and dinner, we played the game "life" and cranium. it was really fun cause we were all just laughing the entire time we were playing. it's good to just hang out with girls and be silly!

saturday was olivia and alan's wedding at the mission santa clara and then reception at the westin santa clara. we missed olivia walking down the aisle because we left kinda late and then we got lost. the ceremony was really, really nice. the mission was decorated with candles and there was rose bouquets on each pew down the aisle. there was also many candles lit around the altar. the bridesmaid dresses were really pretty... they were a champagne gold and they had red and fire and ice rose bouquets which looked really nice against the gold dress.

the reception was at the westin santa clara. it was a really fun reception... good food, good company, good music... it was really a celebration! for olivia and alan's first dance, they did a really cute ballroom dance routine to the song "forever and for always" by shania twain. their favors were a cd (which has really nice songs) and a little bell made out of shells from the philippines. the whole reception was a lot of fun... we did a lot of dancing and picture taking! eric was really happy since all of his friends from berkeley were all there. oh... eric got really drunk at the wedding, but he had a lot of fun! it was a good thing we were all able to get rooms at the hotel because everyone got pretty drunk!

it was truly one of the best weddings we've been to. olivia did an impressive job organizing everything. so here are some pictures from the wedding...
