it's been awhile...

wow... it's been awhile since i've last posted. when i first got onto blogger, i would update my blog once even twice a day. i always had something to say or share. lately life has just been crazy and busy that it has been awhile since i've last written.

what has been going on lately? hmmm... good question. i'm on a new program at work now and it is a lot more complex than the program i was on before. this program is more involved and requires a little more work. so i'm in the middle of training and it's very overwhelming.

what else... i saw ladder 49 and the grudge. ladder 49 was really good. i would see it again if i could. the grudge... uh... it was... scary... thinking about still gives me the creeps! it was scarier than i though it would be. you know sometimes when you see a preview for a movie, you think "oh... that looks scary..." and then you watch the movie and it was kinda dumb and all the scary parts were already shown on the preview on tv. but oh no... not the grudge. it was so scary, i watched most of it with my hand on face or my jacket over my face. i even started to laugh at some parts cause i was pretty scared!

hmmm... what else... eric and i went to look for our halloween costumes today. we're going to lito's cousin's halloween party next saturday and everyone has to wear a costume. after browsing around the halloween store and trying on different costumes that were either too short, would not go over my big ass, or would show too much of my ghostly legs... i have decided to be a "gothica vampress." that is what is says on the package. it was pretty cheap. $14 or $15 for the outfit and i got white hair spray so i can spray white streaks in my hair. i have to look for dark makeup so i can up my face too. eric is still looking for his costume. right now he's settled for a rock star but he still wants to keep looking.

oh!!!! how can i forget?! we got TIVO!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is the best thing ever!!! i am more of a couch potato more than ever! i record everything and have set up season passes for a lot of the shows that we watch regularly. now i don't have to worry if i miss a show or i can now record shows that i want to watch. it's so cool cause we can rewind and pause live shows but too bad we can't skip through commercials. ahhh... the joy of tivo... i don't think i can live without it now!

well i guess that's it for now... gonna go and watch "you've got mail" on tbs, which by the way i've recorded on tivo since i've been checking my email and what not for the last hour.

oh... 3 more weeks until vegas!!! woo-hoo!
