weekend update!

ahh... it's monday! it's been a pretty busy weekend...

friday - didn't really do much... eric and i headed to emeryville to get new phones at cingular. i upgraded my phone and got the motorola v220 camera phone. it's pretty cool... you can download ring tones and take pictures! so far i've downloaded two ringtones "the reason" by hoobastank and "with you" by jessica simpson. eric wasn't able to get his phone on friday since his dad is primary account holder but he was able to get it on sunday (we have matching phones, great!). after getting my new phone, we headed to public market for dinner. afterwards we just went home and watched tv. we're so boring now!

saturday - we headed to san jose in the evening for my friends, reuben and jamie's civil ceremony. it was at reuben's parent house. they were married by jamie's brother-in-law and sister. the ceremony and celebration was very simple but really nice. it was in the backyard and there was christmas lights and orchids decorating the patio. it was a really sweet ceremony and they even included reuben's daughter, jaidyn, in the ceremony by giving her a bracelet when they exchanged rings. it was really nice to see reuben's family and also to see some old friends. after the ceremony, eric and i headed to the city to meet up with nannette, jerry, peter, and mark to go to social lounge (formerly storyville). it was cool... just hung out and watched people dance as well as watch the bartender. peter even got a free drink!

sunday - ian and i went to the american idol concert in san jose. it was pretty fun! it was cool to see them perform live. la toya london, fantasia, and jennifer hudson were soooooooooo good! jasmine and camile were really good as well. the show overall was entertaining but i enojyed the medley performances more than the individual ones.

kendal stayed over my place last night... it was really hard because she was home sick and wanted to go home all the time. she hung out by the front door most of the time she was here and she even slept with me for a little bit. when i took her back to vallejo she was happier and she was running around and finally just sat on her pillow with her leopard skin bone!

well that was my weekend... it was short but fun. now back to work tomorrow!
